Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health (LAUNCH)

LAUNCH is a program dedicated to supporting young children, adolescents, and their families to foster healthier and stronger family units. It offers assistance for children experiencing developmental, speech, or learning delays, addressing the concerns of both the children and their parents/guardians. ​​

  • Incredible Years Parenting Program 

  • 15 week class for parents who have children ages 2-8 on the Autism spectrum or with language delays  

  • A therapeutic approach that employs play and creative arts techniques to address psychological and emotional issues in children, improving behavior and unlocking their full potential 

  • Play-Based Therapy

  • Screening and Case Navigation 

    • Service linkage  

    • Case managers help assess, plan, and coordinate resources to ensure appropriate care 

Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention and Treatment (CAPIT)

This program offers short-term mental health services to individuals and families. It is focused on increasing awareness and support of protective factors to strengthen healthy patterns and relationships between children and their parents/guardians.

  • Accepts referrals from partner organizations

  • Accepts community referrals  

    • ​Partnering agencies will transfer client’s treatment under the appropriate program

Family Preservation Program

Clinicians offer family therapy care to patients who need to bridge the generational gap at home between child and guardian.

  • ​Strictly by referrals from DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services)

Partnerships for Families

To improve everyday family life, our clinicians teach the community about a child’s developmental stages and how to handle young children’s behaviors that are often hard to manage.

Prevention & Aftercare

Similar to case management, this program is intended for clients or families who have completed services but would like additional care for any services they might need to sustain a healthy lifestyle.


We offer outreach and educational services for the community to end the stigma surrounding mental health and to learn more about how to better care for one another as a community on an emotional level  

  • Partial referrals from DCFS after case is closed

  • Accepts community referrals from partnering agencies

    • Partnering agencies will transfer client’s treatment under the appropriate program

Nursery School
LAUNCH Program

Project LAUNCH supports young children, adolescents, and their families to foster healthier and stronger family units by providing services that will aid children experiencing developmental, speech, and/or learning delays by addressing the concerns of both the children and their parents/guardians. Services include:

 

1. Incredible Years Parenting Program: A 15-week in-person class for parents who have children on the Autism Spectrum or with learning delays. The goal: Increase parents' understanding of how to promote their children's cognitive, emotional, social, and language learning by encouraging appropriate developmental support.
a. *Enrollment is currently open! If you have clients who might be interested/appropriate, please forward the flyer and information to them.


2. Play-based Therapy: A therapeutic service that uses play and creative arts to help children with psychological and emotional issues. It can address behavioral problems and help children reach their full potential.


3. Screening and Case Navigation: We are providing developmental screening tools to pinpoint the developmental progress in children. In addition to the screening, we are providing families with case navigation for proper referrals to appropriate testing, assessment, and additional external resources.

Our Youth and Family Services (YAFS) offers mental health services centered around family and children's emotional, developmental, and lang wellbeing.  
 
Programs offer services that promote holistic mental healthcare. 
Our programs are certified to meet the requirements of Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS)
